[ Archer had been keeping track of mentions of Nikolai on Social Media for months. The young heir had a habit of being in the most ridiculous of situations. Well, ridiculous by Archer's outlook. Nikolai's apparent starvation for positive attention often left him showing off to others.
Archer had known when the strange occurrences began that Nikolai had become the owner of a pair of wings. He had found it somehow amusing, but had mostly returned to simply scanning the feed to make sure no one caught him in the act of trying to fly off the top of a large building without any form of practice first. It was during one of these scans that he came to see something that made him freeze.
Nikolai was now a small child. Archer had barely began trying to track down the location on the map when he ran out of his apartment, one arm in a suit jacket as the other juggled with the communicator.
By the time he got to the location mentioned on the image, Archer was prim and proper once more, and keeping an eye out for either crowds or the tiny, troublemaking redhead. ]
[Prim, proper and very much the target of one tiny brat prince with notions of theft.
Because you know, he spent all his money on food already (it was cake and ice cream and the biggest cola ever!) but now he wants that weird not!Bastiodon he saw in the toy store, and he only needs another wallet (the one he stole first didn't have enough!).
He absolutely knows it's Archer and really does not care because Archer is loaded with money and if he can do this, he'll get praise and a toy and if he gets caught, he'll still get a toy, so it's a win-win for him.
Enjoy the tiny thief attempting tp lift your wallet, Archer. He's decent for a nine-year-old, but he's not as good as he'll get.]
[ He did not miss this. He did not miss this one bit. His master had always been quite soft with the child, allowing him to make mistakes so long as his grades were kept up. Giovanni knew best, of course, but the moment he felt the boy's hand he knew this would end in him giving the child a treat even though Archer didn't particularly feel like rewarding him.
That said, he did allow the boy to get part way with his attempt at theft before suddenly snapping and grabbing the boy's hand as it was on his wallet. ]
[At least Archer does get to decide what Nikolai gets at the end off this.]
Hmph! I still got halfway this time!
[He's proud of that and it shows. But, it's not as proud as he could be. Not when he only got half-way through the crime before being caught, meaning this is, ultimately, a Failure on his end. Unacceptable.
At least it's only Archer here, not dad. But, maybe it would have been better if it was dad-.
His shoulders hunch, just a little before he straightens.]
I got another one anyway, [he pulls out the other wallet to show it off] but... Does this mean I don't get the weird not!Bastiodon?
[He's pretty sure it means exactly that, but... he can hope he's wrong, right?]

You still have much to learn, Nikolai.
