As for him... Lance has, last I looked, three dragonite, a gyarados, charizard, and an Aerodactyl that somehow knows Rock Slide.

[First it's the Barrier'd dragonite in Gen 1, then the Rock Slid aerodactyl in gen 2.]

I still have no idea who that is. I've only been to Johto once, and that was before you were even born. If you're going to refuse to look beyond your little bubble, Nikolai, I won't be doing any of this for you.

Yes? It's a Rock type move. Charizard can learn it too. Sometimes types can learn moves that don't match up with their types, like a Thundershock and Earthquake Gyarados.

The ones I know of are... Sharpedo, Camerupt, Blaziken, Swampert, Sceptile, Charizard-- it has two forms. Don't know why. Venusaur, Blastoise, Gengar, Aerodactl, Metagross, Absol, Sableye, Lucario, Gardevoir. Kyogre, Groudon and Rayquaza's Primal forms were a version of mega-evolution. Alakazam, Pinsir, Gyarados, Tyranitar, Mawile, Aggron, Medicham, Manetric, Banette, Garchomp...

[he's missed a few; naturally he only really knows of the hoenn based ones. he studied this hard, when he was teaching himself how to evolve sharpedo.]

Ah! Beedril, maybe Vespiquen? Not sure. Pidgeot, Slowbro, Altaria, Glalie, Gallade, Audino... I think that's most of them.

It's not that easy. Keystones are rare, Alakazite and Gengarite even moreso. If you fuck up the mega-evolution, you could do irreversible damage to your Pokémon and yourself. They could go berserk. Any number of terrible things could happen.

Mega evolution isn't a trump card, nor is it something easy that can be done just to pull the rug out from under your opponent. It's very dangerous and hard to control, even for someone that's mastered it. I battled a mega Salamence once, and the trainer could only just rein it in. If she couldn't, I have no doubt it would've gone for her first.

At least they exist in your world!

You have no Pokémon that can do it. You're assumin' you'll get a Keystone and the right evolution stones. It's not as simple as just owning the items. Not at all.
